Hiring a Retail Store Manager

Can Am Travel Stop Inc is a busy and growing gas station in SK Canada providing not only gas sales services but also selling grocery and other miscellaneous products as a convenient store attached in the gas station. We are currently seeking a Retail Store Manager who is capable of supervising staff at a gas station as well as a convenient store.

Number of Vacancy: 1

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $34 per hour

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Number of Staff to supervise: 5 to 6 staff

Language Requirement: English

Work Setting: Gas station with convenience store attached

Duties:
Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or
of departments in such establishments
Manage staff and assign duties
Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and
effect of competitors' operations on sales
Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Plan budgets and authorize expenditures
Resolve customer complaints
Determine staffing requirements and hire or oversee hiring of staff.
