Hiring a BOOKKEEPER

Can Am Travel Stop Inc is a busy and growing gas station in SK Canada providing not only gas sales services but also selling grocery and other miscellaneous products as a convenient store attached in the gas station. We are currently seeking a BOOKKEEPER who is capable of BOOKKEEPING FOR THE BUSINESS.

Position: BOOKKEEPER (NOC: 1311)  

Number of Vacancy: 1

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $24 per hour

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible


Language Requirement: English

Work Setting: Gas station with convenience store attached/Office Inside

Duties:
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and
computerized bookkeeping systems such as Sage software
Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general
ledgers and prepare financial statements
Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills
Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution
forms and other government documents
Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
