This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Saskatoon, SK with an industry-leading organization that prioritizes collaboration, quality, and innovation. We are seeking an agile, quick-thinking leader who is decisive, analytical, and results-oriented. Working within a mature safety program, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing and overseeing health and safety policies, strategies, metrics, and processes

The Role:  SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR FULL REQUIREMENTS AND DESCRIPTION
Planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of health and safety programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OH&S acts, regulations and codes, as well as organizational safe work policies, guidelines and procedures
safety-related training for new and existing employees
Deliver health and safety coaching at all levels within the organization
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommend changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate workplace accidents and injuries
Work with the executive team to develop goals, strategies and metrics, ensuring the continual improvement of the overall safety program, and adherence to the latest standards and industry best-practises

The Ideal Candidate:
Required experience and abilities:
5  7 years of progressive Health and Safety management experience in a manufacturing setting
CRSP or CHSC designation
Saskatchewan COR auditor certified
Qualifications to train in programs such as WHMIS, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Aerial lifts, etc
