Prairie North Co-op is hiring a Agronomist at our Agro Centre in Melfort, Saskatchewan.

What youll do:
Reporting to the Agro Manager, the Sales Agronomist provides expert advice and strategic agricultural insight to support our customers operations, outputs, and profitability.  With a focus on customer relations and sustainability, the Sales Agronomist supports growth through trust and integrity.  Additional responsibilities include:

-Perform field scouting, agronomic troubleshooting, crop planning, fertility and crop protection recommendations
-Provide agronomic information and advice on seed, pest identification, crop protection, and crop nutrient/fertilizer
-Maintain direct and regular contact with internal and external customers and contractors providing information on conventional queries, issues and transactions.
-Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices and trends

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Agriculture and:
-You have a degree in agriculture with 1  3 years of relevant experience
-You are eligible for SIA membership
