Grain Millers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and merchandiser of whole grain ingredients utilized in food products served around the world. While you may not know us directly, you almost certainly know our products. We have supplied food ingredients around the world for over 25 years.  
We are accepting applications for Safety Manager for our Yorkton Sask. facility. The Safety Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the development and implementation of safety initiatives, policies, procedures, training and philosophies for all Grain Millers Canada facilities.  This position will direct the facilities efforts related to employee safety and health. This position works with the management team in support of production, new employee orientation, audits, regulatory inspections, reporting, and data metrics/analytics. This position will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with other departments to ensure all required OH&S and other programs are compliant and employee safety related training is complete.

Ideal Candidate experience and abilities:
Bachelors Degree or Post secondary certification in a safety related field
5 or more years Health and Safety management experience in a manufacturing setting
Safety Professional Designation
Qualifications to train in safety programs or the ability to acquire instructor training certifications
Must be able to travel outside of Canada as required
Ability to work in an environment with exposure to allergens such as gluten and grain dust
