The Palliser Plains Co-op Association Ltd. invites applications for the permanent full-time position of Fertilizer Supervisor to join our Agro Team out of our Tugaske location.

Reporting to the Agro Division Manager, the Fertilzer Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and operation of the ag facilities at our Tugaske location with the primary focus on our fertilizer plant facility.  This includes loading, unloading, and storing ag products, inventory management, fertilizer sales and orders, ag product deliveries, operating and maintaining a variety of equipment, providing administrative assistance to the Crop Protection Manager, and overall superior customer service.    
  
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

    Background or experience in the Agriculture industry preferred
    Ability to operate various tools, equipment, and machinery in a responsible and safe manner
    Ability to use a computer for compiling quotes, ordering product, operating POS terminal, preparing daily reports etc.
    Experience providing excellent customer service
    Experience working with/on a multigenerational team
    Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
    Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    Regular and repetitive heavy lifting and moving is required (50lbs+)
    Ability to work long hours in the busy season and available when needed
    Valid class 5 drivers license is required, G endorsement would be an asset
