Enterprise data warehouse expertise needed:
Lead the technical vision, architecture and design of data warehouse solutions to enable business intelligence (BI) and analytics. Work with technical leads and business stakeholders to ensure FCCs vision around data warehousing, BI and analytics is met.
What youll do:
- Evaluate proposed systems, changes and additions
- Provide oversight into the decision process and participate in project implementation
- Collaborate in requirements gathering, discovery and interfacing
- Guide standards and principles for development within the environment
- Mentor developers and analysts
- Participate in cross-functional teams that deal with the full spectrum of information management technology
- Investigate research and development of new, emerging technology
What were looking for:
- Strong leader with proven experience in DevOps environments
- Confident communicator able to work effectively with support teams, user communities and application development groups
- Ability to clearly communicate advanced technical decisions to non-technical business stakeholders and executives
- Familiarity with agile practices, preferably in a financial institution context
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
What youll need:
- A degree in computer science and at least eight years of technical experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience); a financial and enterprise risk background is an asset
- A passion for technology and software development
- Advocacy of smart, simple and clean code
- Strong Linux and networking knowledge
- Strong development background
