Bourgault Industries is looking for a self-motivated, hard working individual to join our Maintenance & Facilities team as an Industrial Janitor. This position is responsible for cleaning production common areas, aisle ways, building entrances, outside common areas and office entrances.

Responsibilities:
- Operate ride on floor sweeper throughout all buildings
- Provide support to the facilities and maintenance department by delivering parts or picking up supplies in communities outside of St. Brieux
- Ensure that the general areas including the aisles and open spaces on the production floor in all buildings are clean and free from dirt, debris and garbage that may cause a safety concern.
- Empty all garbage cans in the common areas
- Ensure that the general areas on the exterior of the buildings are kept in an orderly manner by picking up garbage and debris
- Snow shoveling/Ice removal at office main and emergency entrance/exits
- Pick up and distribute fruit at all buildings (delivery to lunchrooms)

Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or similar experience is a strong asset
- Valid drivers license is required
- Able to work independently
- Willing to work some weekends/ overtime when needed
- Able to perform physical work (some heavy lifting is required)
- This is a day shift position but must be willing to work afternoon shift if needs change
