The Director of Member Services is a senior member of the Member and Corporate Services Division management team and provides strategic leadership and operational direction of comprehensive Member Services including: Member expense allowance payment administration, client relations, payroll processing, and pension and benefits administration for the Legislative Assembly Service, Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), constituency assistants, caucus employees and staff of the Independent Statutory Officers. The Director is responsible for implementing policies, procedures and directives related to Member payments and payroll and benefits administration ensuring that the expenditure of public funds is in accordance with directives and regulations of the Board of Internal Economy and with government policies and regulations as may be applicable.
The Director of member Services has full managerial responsibility for a corporate-wide function involving approximately 8 FTEs and in addition influences a budget of approximately 1.9 million and oversees a statutory budget of 16.7 million.
