Our next CAO for the Town will be a proven results-oriented leader with a no nonsense approach to getting things done who along with a strong administrative team, will continue transitioning the organization. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be a strong decision maker with high integrity providing guidance and support for your staff and Council. As the successful candidate, you will have a thorough understanding of municipal operations, including: project management; legislation; finance/budgeting; infrastructure, land use planning; and economic development.
The preferred candidate will have successfully graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution with a diploma or degree in Public Administration or related discipline and be eligible for membership in the Urban Municipal Administrators Association of Saskatchewan and have at least a Standard C Certificate or a recognized equivalent. Prior urban CAO experience OR a minimum of five years experience at a senior level in municipal government is required. This role is ultimately accountable for a combined capital and operating budget of almost 10M and a present staff compliment of 32 full time and casual persons.
