LEON Mfg Company Inc.(www.leonsmfg.com) requires a seasoned General Manager to manage manufacturing operations based in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Since 1952 the Company has served equipment dealers & distributors throughout North America and beyond supplying high quality material equipment for key markets in the agricultural and industrial marketplace. Engineering and manufacturing high quality, durable equipment with good customer service & support continue to be the keys for long term growth and success.  

The General Manager works closely with Company President and Directors to deliver on key short term and long term business plan objectives. The position requires a dedicated entrepreneurial minded leader with a passion for growing operations through innovation and effective sales and production problem solving methods and strategies. This high energy candidate manages day to day operations, promotes growth and better efficiencies, prepares strategic plans, motivates and manages various departments (sales & marketing, manufacturing, engineering, accounting, human resources), with the end goal of achieving departmental goals and timelines.

Experience in sales and production management of metal machinery products sold throughout North America, plus a Bachelor/Masters degree in Business Administration, Commerce, and/or Engineering would be ideal for this position. This role requires a hands on effective communicator with good strategic planning skills, financial planning skills, interpersonal skills, and effective leadership skills who enjoy working with people. Multitasking and communicating in a multicultural environment with professionals of varying skillsets must be one which this candidate embraces and thrives in.  

The position is at head office where Company will pay moving expenses if required to assume family residency in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Compensation includes salary, incentive bonuses, and complete Employee Benefits package.
