Description

J&H Builders Warehouse, is a Saskatoon based family owned and operated business.  We have been building quality, affordable homes since 1969, and are currently searching for a motivated individual who can take on a variety of tasks necessary to help build a ready to move home and work in retail installs.  

Responsibilities:

- Small Carpentry and repairs

- Complete demolition of bathrooms, kitchens, decks, fences, etc.  

- Pre-Possession close outs on sold homes.

-Forklift and telehandler work to load and/or move materials, garbage bins, lumber and trusses.  

- Installation of central vacs, minor repairs to houses.  

-Pre-Move RTM houses before they are moved to customers location.  

-Some basic framing, Roofing, Siding, Insulation, Drywall, Wall repairs, painting.

-Work directly with site superintendents in Housing & Retail Installs Departments.  



Requirements:

-"Can do" attitude - Valid Drivers Licence and recent drivers abstract.

-Good at troubleshooting.

-Carpentry Handyman skills, Use of basic hand tools

-Construction experience is a Must -Forklift license an asset, but we will train  

-Must have own tools.  

-Work under pressure of deadlines

-Ability to multi task -Being a team player

-Take direction from site supervisor -Work Related References required

-Must be able to work alone unsupervised.

 - Build and install framing for dropped ceilings, counters, indirect lighting, display cases, etc.
