Description

West Park Crossing is a 79 bed Retirement Community with 24 hour care service available.

West Park Crossing is currently recruiting:
Casual Resident Attendant

Responsibilities
    Encourage participation in activity programs by assisting residents to and from activities
    Provide emotional and social support to residents/families
    Adheres to established departmental policies and procedures regarding documentation, quality assurance, fire, safety, and environment and infection control
    Completes housekeeping tasks as scheduled
    Assist residents with performance of activities of daily living as indicated in service plans
    Perform dining service duties as indicated on Daily Assignment form, including but not limited to serving meals, delivering meal trays to suites, busing tables, cleaning dining room after meals and setting tables and other cleaning
    Consults with and informs nurses and Director of Wellness on resident activated, needs and matters related to resident care
Qualifications
    PSW Certification
    Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and writing
    Maintain any certificates as required by provincial regulations
    Ability to work in a team environment
    Available for ongoing training as related to the needs of the residents
Experience
    Experience as a PSW/CCA
