Facility: MENTAL HEALTH INPATIENT
Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, this position works as a member of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence informed and best practices in assessment, treatment, psychological interventions, support and follow-up to clients. This is an advanced mental health role performing a variety of psychosocial interventions to address a range of addictions and mental health issues.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in a health-related field
Registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
Experience
Previous experience delivering psycho-social and counselling in Mental Health and Addictions an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
Advanced counseling skills
Facilitation skills
Ability to conduct client assessments and engage in effective treatment planning
Ability to conduct training programs for caregivers and other groups
Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
A demonstrated ability to meet and work with clients, utilizing sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity and responsibility
Ability to collect, record and report comprehensive client information accurately in verbal, written and electronic formats in accordance with professional standards and guidelines
Ability to communicate and collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary planning group
