The MAP Wellness Worker will work to provide a culturally safe space with daily therapeutic support services to Lighthouse residents in the managed alcohol program. The managed alcohol program provides accommodation and 16 hour, seven day a week staff support. These include supports to improve illness management, coping skills, life skills and better over-all health in order to maximize independence and improve quality of life. The Wellness Worker will be knowledgeable of Indigenous history, cultural practices, and views, and will be comfortable in supporting others.
This position averages 37.5 hours per week; Shifts are 8 hours in length; One week of day shifts, one week of evening shifts; rotating schedule (including weekdays and weekends)
