MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
This position provides maintenance supervision services to all Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority facilities in the Athabasca Basin and assists in ensuring all facilities are maintained to provide safe and efficient schools and facilities.  This position is based out of the Prince Albert Central Office.
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
    Grade 12
    Successful completion of technical education leading up to the achievement of Journey Person status
    Computerized Building Management Systems Training (BMS, Metsays)
    A minimum of ten years experience in one or more of the building trades
    Related training would be a definate asset (i.e. locksmith, hardware installation, etc.)

REQUIRED LICENCES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS:
    Must hold valid Interprovincial Journey Person Certificate in one or more of the Red Seal approved building trades
    Valid WHMIS Certificate
    Valid Drivers License
    Valid First Aid / CPR Certificate
    Valid Safety Certification

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
    Develop and monitor an effective preventative facilities and grounds maintenance program
    Coordinate and monitor the work of labourers, other trades and contractors
    Management of facilities projects and contracted services
    Oversee the installation of appliances such as furnaces, water heaters and rooftop units that require gas connections within permitted regulations
    Comply with any and all applicable Board Policies, guidelines and practices, and legislation and regulatory requirements
    Perform other related duties as assigned
