Description

The Manager of child care services - Child Support Unit reports to the Director of Child Care Services and is responsible to manage assigned TCOC homes. Key areas of accountability include continuous monitoring of the well-being of children located in the homes, managing the staff complement, policy and program delivery, managing child care related issues including crisis or health-related intervention, and ensuring the overall functioning of each TCOC home is operating in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal Education -
A post-secondary degree from a recognized learning institution relating to Social Work, Psychology, Education or similar program.

Licenses-
A valid driver's license and use of a reliable vehicle.

Knowledge-
Knowledge and understanding of human behavior and underlying causes
Knowledge of the Child Care Act and the Residential Services Manual
