THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOU
The Manager, Occupational Health and Safety is responsible for developing, leading, managing and achieving the strategic occupational health and safety objectives of Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) in accordance with recognized best practices and established legislation and contracts.  This position is a member of REALs management team and works collaboratively with executive, management, supervisors and staff to build and support a culture of safety and ensure an effective health and safety internal responsibility system is fully integrated and adopted throughout the organization.  As a member of the Guest Experience Management Team, the Manager, Occupational Health & Safety participates in the planning of corporate safety programs, policies and processes, and acts as a champion of these programs, policies and processes when implementing them within the organization.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who demonstrates expert knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, practices, processes and legislation in an events and entertainment delivery environment. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of occupational health and safety management systems and demonstrated experience of inspection and auditing processes, procedures and risk assessment methodologies. There will be a need to develop strong working relationships and build trust and confidence with staff at all levels of the organization as well as external stakeholders which includes regulatory bodies.
