Description

Bourgault Industries is looking for an HR/Recruitment Officer to join our team in St. Brieux, SK. This is a term position from January, 2021 to September, 2022.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the day-to-day contact for HR issues and questions, both within the company and with external agencies
- Coordinate and cooperate with other departments in providing employee services, improving HR related systems and procedures and facilitating interdepartmental projects
- Manage Bourgaults recruitment needs, including job advertising, interviewing, selection, tracking and reporting
- Schedule and facilitate interviews and conduct reference checks
- Make job offers and assist with new employee onboarding
- Coordinate Bourgaults international recruitment, when required
- Represent Bourgault at career fairs
- Manage contract workers and act as the main contact for contract companies
- Coordinate retention-related activities, including employee events, employee survey, and exit survey/interviews
- Create and update HR policies and procedures as required
- Assist with payroll and benefits tasks as required

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources
- 2-5 years of experience in recruitment or as an HR generalist
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are essential
- Experience with HR in a manufacturing environment is a strong asset
- Working knowledge of relevant recruitment & retention practices, Labour Standards, immigration practices, and benefits programs
- Effective organizational and time-management abilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
