Description

9 Mile Legacy Brewing is a nanobrewery located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  Our business is the production and sale of a wide range of high quality craft beer.  Our passion is in giving the consumer a community-connected, creative experience by pairing an exceptional liquid product with unique and cutting-edge collaborations with local artists, community organizations and events, craft beer industry participants and other like-minded businesses.

We have been operating for almost 6 years and are located in the heart of the Riversdale neighbourhood.  We now operate 2 locations - our flagship nanobrewery on 20th Street West and our scaled production facility on 21st Street West.

This winter, we are looking to add a new team member in a fulltime position to serve as an assistant brewer, principally at our scaled production facility.  Principal responsibilities will include:

1)    Cleaning kegs, fermentation vessels and brewing equipment.

2)    Bottling, canning and other packaging tasks.

3)    Assisting our Head Brewer with the brewing process.

While we consider experience in commercial brewing an asset, it is not essential.  What is essential is that you (a) can work both independently and as a positive, respectful team member, (b) have a passion for well made beer and community involvement, (c) able to perform physically demanding brewing duties, and (d) continually demonstrate exceptional work ethic and professional character.  The successful candidate will be critical thinking, a proactive problem solver and detail-focused in approach.
