Job Description: The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is accountable for the development & provision of effective recruitment and retention programs to ensure appropriate and efficient utilization of human resources for in-scope, out of scope and physician classifications. This includes developing and implementing strategies to ensure a sustainable workforce; assisting managers in the creation of quality work environments to attract new recruits and retain existing staff; contract negotiation, administration and remuneration coordination for physician recruitment; responsibility for the development of an overall Human Resources Strategy and accountability for the successful application of the staffing process.
Required Qualifications

Prior health care experience recommended
Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Human Resources; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with many individuals and groups including staff, students, unions and the general public
Project management skills and ability to direct multiple priorities and work simultaneously on a variety of projects
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills
Excellent organizational abilities
In depth knowledge of principles of collective bargaining agreement application and interpretation, and related provincial legislation
Ability to work within time-pressured and intense human relations environment
Effective change agent
Team player with exceptional people building skills
Possess initiative, self-direction, organizational and leadership abi
