Description

Bethany Pioneer Village which is nestled in the heart of Middle Lake, Saskatchewan is searching for a receptionist/screener who will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks. As the first point of contact for staff, residents and Bethany families, this individual must be able to multitask by answering numerous phone lines, greet and screen visitors, residents and staff in a friendly and courteous manner as they enter or leave the facility.
Performs daily temperature checks on staff.
Provides information, direction and assistance to visitors, residents and staff.
Records visitor numbers in log book and counts totals at end of each day.
Assists with controlling patient numbers in various work areas to ensure physical distancing is maintained.
Ensures workstation is disinfected regularly.
Enforces and follows established safety and security policies (e.g. smoking, emergency situations), and COVID-19 screening questionnaires.
Coordinates small deliveries and pick-ups.
May show others how to perform tasks or duties by familiarizing new employees with the work area and processes.
Monitors and restocks supplies required for the position as required.
Update resident information, sort and distribute the mail while supporting department needs. We are looking for someone who is highly organized with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This receptionist must be able to work independently with limited or no supervision at times.

This is a full time position with 37.5 hours a week, work hours times may vary week to week to accommodate resident visitors, holidays and work load.  Must be flexible as it does include weekend work.
