This casual opportunity is at the Battlefords District Care Centre, Battleford, Saskatchewan

Job Summary:
Responsible for organizing, producing and distributing food and beverages.

Experience:
Previous:  Six (6) months on-the-job experience in order to become familiar with timelines, special diets, large quantity food production and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
    Journeyperson Cook Certificate

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Ability to work independently
    Basic computer skills

    Food Safe Certificate

    Organizational skills
    Valid drivers license, where required by the job

Should the Employer be unable to recruit a qualified applicant, other applicants with a minimum of one year related experience in a restaurant or industrial kitchen and a willingness to obtain the required qualifications at their own expense within a defined period of time may be considered.  No guaranteed hours.  Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period.  Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats an holidays, where applicable.
