Star Facility Services Inc., a fast-paced growing commercial cleaning company in Western Canada is seeking an experienced and qualified cleaning supervisor to join our dynamic Star team. Star Facility Services Inc. provides services from Manitoba to British Columbia. Our wide-range of services include regular cleaning, sanitation services, day porter services, construction clean up, carpet and upholstery cleaning, window cleaning, VCT stripping & re-finishing, concrete  grinding, honing and polishing. Cleaning Supervisor is responsible to oversee the work product of all cleaners.

Responsibilities include all product inventories, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and recommending solutions; and report any disciplinary concerns to Regional Operations Manager.

Give cleaners on-the-job site instructions, maintain and requisition cleaning supplies and keep a record of stock.

Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly, so employees & contractors can perform job duties as needed.

Responsible to monitor and maintain the work schedules and ensuring that employees & contractors complete work assignments in a timely manner.

Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, washing walls, windows and removing garbage etc.

Handle project work i.e. Floor Stripping & Waxing, Polishing, Carpet Cleaning, Window washing etc.

Physical capability to do the work, including, but not limited to reaching, standing, walking, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasionally required to work in dusty environments.
