The City of Saskatoon is looking for Weight Room Attendants
Job Duties include:
Complete Fit for Duty Form and done PPE if needed.
Welcome citizens to the weight room while physical distancing
Request that all participants coming into the weight room use hand sanitizer
Answer questions about leisure centre program safety using the customer program information sheet
Ensure participants maintain physical distancing while participating
Ensure participants clean equipment after use, using paper towel and disinfectant provided
Clean equipment using paper towel and disinfectant as required (if a participant fails to do so)
Performing weight room orientations
Monitor safety of participants exercising, answer fitness related questions and demonstrate the use of fitness equipment using proper technique if needed
Coach and advise clients on improving lifestyle choices
Performing other duties surrounding recreation programming
Doff and dispose of PPE according to procedure
Be self-motivated, energetic, organized and responsible
Qualifications:
B.SC. Kinesiology or degree in a related field; or currently enrolled in Kinesiology or a related field.
CSEP Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP), CSEP Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), or ACSM
Valid First Aid and CPR
Rate of Pay is $20.75/hour-$23.25/hr
