Description

The Life & Benefits department is looking for a service-oriented individual to support the busy environment of our advisors.

This is a permanent full-time position, responsible for the processing of individual life & living benefits insurance change requests, post-sale and service administration, client reporting and backup relief for the recording of compensation. The individual must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and thrive in a confidential working environment with an energetic team. Experience in life insurance or group benefits is an asset but not a requirement.

Responsibilities for Life & Benefits Administration:
* Populate, manage, and maintain data within the CRM, and convert paper-based client files into electronic format.
* Process client service requests with insurers.
* Maintain abeyance system for accurate and timely follow-up on service requests.
* Follow-up on outstanding premium payments.
* Communicate courteously and professionally with life agents, clients, and insurers.
* Contact referrals and book meetings for the sales team.
* Generate and manage monthly reports.
* Other administrative projects as assigned.

Skill and Experience:
* Two years of office administration experience.
* Strong interpersonal and organization skills combined with excellent oral and written communication skills.
* A passion for customer service, process and very detail oriented.
* Excellent time management skills with an ability to work in a fast paced/high volume environment.
* Proven ability to work independently with little supervision as well as part of a team
* Strong, keyboard and PC skills in Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
