Job Description: Provide spiritual care for all residents, clients, families and staff in a holistic approach respecting the individual faith and spiritual needs expressed by the individual in our care. Our programs will generate goodwill and collaboration with other disciplines, promote the mission, vision and values of Providence Place.
Required Qualifications

A current, firm background in Theological studies is an asset
A member of the Canadian Association for Pastoral Education (C.A.P.E.) or equivalent (eg. Degree of Masters in Pastoral Ministry)
A member of the Sask. Interfaith Pastoral Care Association (S.I.P.C.A.)
Experience
Preferred CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education)Basic Unit and/or willing to obtain.
Long Term Care/Healthcare experience an asset
Lay ministry training/education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability and knowledge to work effectively with grief, dying and death
A willingness and an ability to work as a member of the spiritual care team
Other Information

Knowledge of, and experience in the Saskatchewan healthcare environment is an asset

Mental, emotional and physically demanding position

Expected Start Date: November 9, 2020
FTE: 0.50

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends
18.75 hours per 1 week rotation
