Adecco Saskatoon is currently recruiting for Accounts Payable professionals to work on various work contracts in Saskatoon, SK. The industries of our clients vary diversely and length of contract is dependent on the needs of our clients. We are looking for individuals who are adaptable with a willingness to work on various contracts in a number of different industries. To be considered for our Accounts Payable contracts you must have strong office experience and skills. Successful candidates will have experience with various Accounts Payable tasks and MUST receive proficient scores on internal computer tests.

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

Review invoices and match to purchase orders, follow up when discrepancies exist;

Review payment coding for accuracy;

Accurate and timely entry of invoices into the financial system;

Process cheque requisitions and expense reimbursements;

Prepare weekly payment runs for approval and print cheques;

Follow up on cheque requests as needed;

Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries;

Maintain accurate and organized invoice supplier files; and

Generate expense reports as required.

To be successful in this role, the person must have:

1 - 2 years experience in an accounts payable role.

A strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures.

Ability to take initiative to quickly resolve discrepancies and respond to Vendors.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and initiative.

Thrive in a high volume environment/high performance team.
