Viterra is seeking a motivated team player to work as a Trade Execution Coordinator at our Head Office located in Regina, SK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely administration and processing of commercial grain contracts for containers, vessels, railcars and trucks, as well as assisting the entire Trade Execution team on all execution activities associated with various domestic and international shipments.


Key Responsibilities:

Reviews contracts to ensure they are sent out with the appropriate terms and conditions, while collaborating with various stakeholders within Viterra (Trade Execution, Merchandisers and Risk Management).
Identifies potential contract discrepancies  to Merchandisers and Trade Execution as they pertain to company policies, procedures, and International and National Grain Trading terms.
Coordinates and manages the processing of sales and purchase contracts with commercial grain customers.


Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to review, follow, and interpret corporate policy regarding contract terms and conditions.
Strong team player with proven ability to assist in high-pressure situations.
Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers in a diverse industry.

Education and Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) year experience in export logistics, finance and documentation in a financial institution or grain/agricultural company would be considered an asset.
Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Finance, Agriculture or Business Administration.
Efficient in MS office and experience utilizing relevant computer software programs.
Basic understanding of the Canadian Grain Industry is considered an asset.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
