Under the direction of the Working Foreman will be accountable for all day to day activities of the Utilities function, including but not limited to, the following:
Prioritizing, recommending, and implementing activities to ensure the safe, efficient and quality delivery of utility operations
Essential Qualifications:
High School Diploma
A minimum of 5 years experience in a related industry
Must be extremely well organized and have demonstrated the ability to manage and prioritize work activities, identify potential problems, recommend corrective action and implement necessary change
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both written and orally with a variety of groups and individuals in a professional manner
Must have a strong Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) background and commitment.
Demonstrated success in delivering high quality projects on time and within budget
Computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite of products
Must hold a valid class 5 Drivers Licence and be prepared to acquire a Class 5 with G endorsement within 6 months
Must be able to provide a recent criminal record check
Water Treatment, Water Distribution and Wastewater Treatment Level 1 certifications
Asset Qualifications:
Experience in operating machinery or must take necessary training to obtain equipment certifications.
Equipment will typically be utility vehicle
