RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Performing initial design consultations, promoting KRN services to the client, converting consults to active projects.
Design coordination with the KRN Residential Design planners, Sub-consultant Engineers and Architects as required
Creation of conceptual design (plans, elevations, millwork drawings, specs, schedules, tender packages, etc.)
Sourcing of all materials required for project design
Creation of sketches, renderings and materials boards for presentation to the cleint
Obtain quotations from trades, contractors and vendors, in order to manage client budgets.
Creation and management of detailed FF&E document - ongoing updates as required by the client to meet budget.
Renovation related projects plan and oversee the renovation according to the design, standards, quality of work and deficiencies
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL DEMONSTRATE:
A minimum of 3 years working in the Interior Design industry with hands on experience in running your own projects (this is not a junior position)
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Professional, positive and mature demeanor
Ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask several projects at once
A "can do" motivated attitude and ability to take initiative
Hands on experience with renovation related projects i.e, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, millwork, flooring etc. Must have working knowledge of how to manage contractors and deficiencies on site.
Excellent conceptual ability and ability to read the clients wants and needs
Strong working knowledge with a variety of software such as: Autocad, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch-up, 3D Studio Max, V-Ray, Etc.
Excellent ability to multi task and meet deadlines in a busy environment
*Valid license and OWN CAR is required**
Must have diploma or degree in Interior Design.
