Description

We are looking to hire a qualified Part-time Day Care Coordinator to manage our day-to-day operations and establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children.

The main responsibilities of this position would be conducting tours of the facility to prospective families, receiving and completing child registrations and child files, answering phones and emails, communicating with families, supporting staff, assisting with staff schedules and assisting with licensing and accreditation tasks.  

Manage and coordinate Monthly curriculum with staff that the overall development of children.
Evaluate and purchase Groceries, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Manage and support teaching staff and promote their professional development.
Interview, hire, and train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements.
Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures.
Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the Daycares policies.
Manage and oversee the budget.
Develop and facilitate a marketing plan to fill any vacant spots.
Do Payrolls for the staff on a bi-weekly basis.
Collect the monthly payments from families by the 1st of the month.
Fill out subsidy application and attendance Reports at the End of the Month.
Find Casual staff if needed
Manage Social Media handles for the organization.
Assistance in building childcare spaces.

Requirements:
Ability to quickly learn and adapt.
Early childhood education experience may be preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Friendly and approachable demeanor.
Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times.
