Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Sales Associate is the first point of contact for potential professional members of the Association. This role leads the planning and development of recruiting professional members from the fields of land development, home building and home renovation with the aim of ensuring a high retention rate and a promotion of excellence in our profession.
The requirements
o Successful track record in the field of sales or recruitment is a must
o Proven ability to network and foster lasting relationships
o Commitment to quality service and continual improvement
o High level of comfort with new technologies and software
o Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information
o Ability to work in fast-paced environments focused on teamwork, innovation, and surpassing our goals
The areas of responsibility
o Selling/recruitment of professional memberships by following a variety of leads
o Maintaining current prospect database and contributing to maintain membership database
o Manage the recruitment process of the Association with annual targeted goals
o Play a pivotal role in the retention of membership
o Assist with the sale of sponsorship where appropriate
o Create and foster quality relationships and partnerships within the industry
