Description

Harbour Landing Village Group Home is a Licensed Group Home facility that provides support for young adults with Intellectual and Physical disabilities. Harbour Landing Village Group Home is regulated and monitored by the Ministry of Social Services (Community Living Service Delivery (CLSD)) and maintains specific standards. We currently have 5 individuals, all with unique personalities and abilities.
The Manager of Community Living leads the Villages multidisciplinary care team with responsibilities for optimizing clinical outcomes, ensuring resident and family satisfaction, employee engagement, employee satisfaction and financial objectives. The responsibilities encompass the efficient, effective, and safe provision of high-quality care and services provided to and for the residents, clients, and their families.
As a member of the Harbour Landing Village Management Team, the Manager of Community Living is an active participant in the organizations efforts to support an environment promoting a culture of resident and family centered care. This role is accountable to the CEO to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values and the achievement of the strategic priorities of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in social services or equivalent education.
A minimum of 3 years of progressive senior leadership experience in disability sector.
2 years of Ministry experience.
Prior management of a team.
Prior experience as a contributing member of a leadership team.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, effective listener.
The ability to work collaboratively with other areas of the business
WORKING CONDITIONS
Fast paced environment, multi-tasking, operations are around the clock; administrators are on call 24/7 to deal with problems.
