Redekop has an immediate opening in the Engineering Department for a Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering Technologist at our Head Office in Saskatoon, SK.
Responsibilities
    Participates in the process of releasing new products  assembly, operation and installation manuals, parts page generation, production drawing creation, BOM entry, and validation.
    Participates in the process of maintaining current products  updates to assembly, operation and installation manuals, parts pages, production drawings, BOM updates, and validation.
    Participates in the research and development process  drawing creation, BOM entry, and costing.
    Supports Manufacturing Team through jig design, manufacturing layouts, and process flows.
    Works directly with other engineering and manufacturing personnel in a team environment.
    Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
    Acquainted with the overall engineering and manufacturing operation.
    Work experience in a production engineering environment with emphasis in the mechanical or agricultural disciplines.
    Work experience in a manufacturing environment with fabricating, welding, and assembly experience.
    Knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to use Creo, Solidworks, Inventor, and/or AutoCAD.
    Excellent computer skills with knowledge of ERP systems (EPICOR or SAP).
    Diploma in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering Technology.
    Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
    Results orientated and capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
    Farming experience or background is an asset.
