A Wildlife Technician helps solve problems with urban wildlife. You may help remove raccoons or squirrels out of an attic, skunks from under a shed, or help other animals and birds out of difficult and intrusive situations.
If you are comfortable with working at heights, are handy with general repairs, and have a positive attitude your work will give peace of mind (and a good nights rest) to customers and help stranded wildlife find better and more appropriate homes every day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform wildlife control installations, clean up & trapping services.
Surveying and assessing premises for the presence of wildlife and pests.
Required to complete mandatory safety and training programs as needed.
Leadership and professionalism are required at all times around staff and clients with a zero tolerance for unprofessionalism.
Develop a maintenance logbook for all work and maintenance performed on all worksites.
Inspect buildings for wildlife damage and entry points
Install one-way door, or trap to remove wildlife humanely
Repair wildlife damage and seal all points of entry
Provide wildlife proofing solutions to prevent future problems
Travel to customer locations in Regina and surrounding areas
