We are team of design professionals utilizing the latest technology to maximize efficiency, creativity, and collaboration in an open work environment. Our current portfolio of work ranges from small renovations to comprehensive renewals of commercial and institutional buildings. We are currently looking for an Architectural Technologist who believes in a higher standard, has a passion for detail, quality and accuracy, exhibits strong interpersonal skills, and is a team player.
What you will accomplish with us:
- Producing technical documents in Revit
- Producing and editing construction drawings in Revit
- Establishing a modeling strategy
- Provide a liaison between the design team, the client and various stakeholders
- Researching existing building documentation (plans, reports, etc.)
- Researching and selecting products and materials
- Preparing required client documentation
- Contributing to production of construction cost estimates
- Coordinating plans and specifications, and construction details
- Coordinating with Sub-consultants (Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.)
- Coordinating the project with partners
QUALIFICATIONS
What you need:
- Diploma from an accredited Architectural Technology program
- Minimum 5 years of local architectural experience
- At least 5 years of Revit experience with expert knowledge of the software
- Good knowledge of BIM architectural issues
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and SketchUp software
- Understanding of the current National Building Code of Canada
- Experience with complex renovation projects
- Aptitude for teamwork and natural ability to collaborate with different partners on a project
- Independent and proactive
- Skilled at managing several tasks simultaneously, under tight deadlines
