The purpose of the Driller/Locator is to perform the coordination and installation of underground conduit, cables and utilities.
Mandatory Requirements:
What You Need to Succeed:
2+ years experience operating Directional drilling and/or Locating equipment - Type of drills and/or locating equipment must be clearly stated in Cover letter/Resume
Experience in a telecom or utilities environment
Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Drivers' Licence with clean driver's abstract.
Must be able to pass criminal record check
Willing to travel, work extended hours in a Modified Work Arrangement, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Nice to have:
Class 1A or air brake endorsement
Experience running construction or earthworks equipment
Experience running hydro vac equipment.
Additional safety training certifications. ie) ground disturbance, confined space, etc
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
Ability to perform minor mechanical maintenance
