Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking energetic individuals for 3 available positions to work as Summer Research Assistants at our Research and Development facility located at Saskatoon, SK. As a member of our R&D team you will have the opportunity to increase your agronomic knowledge and gain an understanding of commercial crop production in Western Canada. Although our focus is primarily canola breeding, you will have the opportunity to work with other crops such as wheat, barley, and Soybean. You will also gain experience with farm machinery and driving a truck and trailer.



This is a seasonal role that will work between May and August 2021.

What you will do:

Preparation of seed samples, planting, spraying, maintenance and harvesting of research trials, data collection, operating field equipment as well as truck and trailer
Travel will be required
What you will bring:

Post-secondary student (any discipline), agricultural education and/or related experience and/or farm background an asset but not necessary
Attention to detail
Safety-oriented
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Valid class 5 drivers license
