We are seeking a Tier III Senior IT Support professional looking for a challenging position in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
In this role, you will serve as a key resource to our ServiceDesk Team, the buck will stop with you. Desktop and network support issues that escalated beyond Tiers I and II will become your responsibility to investigate and resolve. You will need to combine an excellent working knowledge of PCs and networking as well as working with end-customers and our ServiceDesk technicians to deliver solutions in a timely and professional manner.
In this role you will provide planning, installation, configuration and support services on advanced Project solutions. Our Project case load varies greatly. - migrating e-mail, file storage and authentication systems to the cloud,
- upgrading physical and Hyper-V virtual servers,
- supporting, upgrading, and migrating line-of-business apps,
- reviewing and recommending network equipment solutions, including VoIP and IP-based security systems.
Must demonstrated the following experience:
- Staging Microsoft365/Office365 for small-medium businesses (5-50 users).
- Experience evaluating and making recommendations on whether to maintain on-premise server infrastructure vs migrating to full-cloud solutions.
- Intermediate knowledge (3-8 years) of deploying virtualization environments in SMB; Hyper-V preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts (VLAN, Site-to-site VPN, medium-density WiFi networks).
