Facility: CYPRESS REGIONAL HOSPITAL
Job Description: Reporting to the Program Manager, the Unit Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day operations and patient flow of the Unit.  He/She will facilitate the use of critical thinking skills by the RN and LPN staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
Minimum 3 years relevant Acute Care Nursing experience

Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position

Comprehensive knowledge/understanding for managing change An equivalent combinaton of education, training and experience may be considered  The successful candidate is responsible to obtain and provide an original Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) from their local police service, RCMP or previous country/countries of residence that is dated within the past six (6) months that is satisfactory to the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC & VSC during recruitment and selection process.

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
112.00 hours per 3 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours
