Description

Our leadership culture is transforming how we work with customers, partners and each other. We're aiming for a culture that focuses on new strengths, balanced with some of what's always been important to our success. The successful individual for this role will be a team player who buys into this mindset and embodies SGIs vision, missions and values.

In this role, you will lead strategic research that aids in the development and enhancement of strategic plans, liaise with senior management to identify key areas of strategic relevance, and provide support to ensure success through alignment with corporate plans. This role requires someone who can be self-directed, has a growth mindset and will challenge the status quo as they develop, measure and evaluate corporate strategies. In addition, this role will assist in managing SGIs relationship with Crown Investments Corporation (CIC) and other government agencies, while providing ongoing reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Requirements
Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity.  We are looking for candidates who have a degree in a relevant field of study, such as business administration, commerce or public policy, along with eight years experience comprised of four years progressively challenging leadership experience and four years leading the strategic planning process or strategy formulation. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.

Why SGI?
