Pattison Agriculture is looking for a Human Resources Recruiting Specialist. This position can work out of any of our 18 locations.
Working alongside members of the Human Resources Department, the successful candidate will provide support for and lead the recruiting process for the company.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work to understand the dynamic hiring needs within the business (work closely with managers to forecast needs)
Continue and develop new strategies for continuous recruiting in all positions, especially hard to fill positions
Focus on attracting and engaging qualified candidates by building relationships with job seekers
Filtering talent pipeline candidates for open positions
Proactive in sourcing candidates from new and existing sources pools for open roles and to generate passive talent pools
Collaborate with Marketing for social media strategy, and recruitment marketing materials to meet recruiting needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in a Human Resources or related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered
Experience in recruiting practices
Knowledge of Employment Standards Act and relevant legislation is beneficial
Ability to read, write, and speak effectively with customers and/or other employees
