On behalf of our client, a new marketing start-up with huge aspirations, we are searching for a qualified and versatile HR Generalist.  
The new office will not only require HR competence, but general office administration competence, since the office is being set up.

Core Generalist functions.
HR Generalist will support the development of positive work culture. Primarily responsible to administer the day to day human resources function as well as assist with the corporate safety program. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment and selection, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, benefits, compensation, organizational development and performance management.
-    Ensure company policy, procedures and safety regulations are followed at all times

Responsibilities:
Development of the Human Resources department designing strategy and procedures
    Knowledgeable in Provincial HR labour laws and practices
    Preferably with CPHR or working towards a CPHR designation.
Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
Assists in revising, editing, and proofreading company policies and procedures and related documents as needed
Responsible to create and review Jobs Descriptions
Provides recruitment support  posting jobs, conducting candidate searches & pre-screens, scheduling interviews and follow-ups
Personal and professional development of the organizations personnel, which involves employee orientation, development, and training
Development, implementation and administration of policy documents and handbooks
Manage the performance management process, working closely with senior management within the organization
