Job Description: The Physical Therapist Degree Senior reports directly to the Regional Manager of Therapies.  The Physical Therapist Degree Senior is accountable for assisting in the planning, organizing, directing and supervising the delivery of physical therapy services to ensure patients/clients receive comprehensive client-centered care within the framework of the interdisciplinary team.  This position's focus is on physical therapy services which includes areas such as inpatients, outpatients, community and/or long-term care.  The Physical Therapist Degree Senior also provides training, coaching, mentoring and guidance to staff therapists and other team members and students.  This will be done in accordance with the Vision, Mission, and Philosophy of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Required Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
Experience
Must have minimum of 2 years of relevant to the clinical experience of the Senior Position

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Advanced organizational skills
Advanced leadership skills
Positive approach and good listening skills to deal with challenging situations with objectivity, empathy and sincerity

112 hours of work in a 3 week rotation.
