We are an established Yorkton based manufacturer seeking a full-time Accountant to join our Administration team.

Preference is for candidates with at least 5 years of hands-on accounting work experience, either in general accounting or in an accounting specialization such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit & collections, etc.  

The position requires an individual who is self-motivated and well organized at handling multiple tasks and a high level of detail to meet accounting responsibilities and deadlines.  Strong communication (oral and written), problem solving, and analytical skills are required.  The Accountant will be responsible to directly and regularly interacting with other department staff as well as customers, vendors and other business partners on various accounting related matters.  

An intermediate working knowledge of computerized accounting software and MS Office applications is preferred.  Exposure to a manufacturing or processing environment and ERP systems is an asset; however, full training will be provided to the selected applicant on the Companys software and accounting procedures.
