Sheet Metal Foreman Job Description

Main Duties (but not limited to):
    Install, repair or replace Sheet Metal roofing systems including standing seam, cladding, and wall panels.
    Install roof perimeter metal flashings.
    Set up necessary guardrails and anchors for safety requirements
    Job set up and tear down
    Daily housekeeping.

Qualifications:
    In-depth knowledge of the roofing construction industry and company operations specifically construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures.
    Guide and mentor crew member to be on task and perform them efficiently.
    Working knowledge of computers; including but not limited to Email Correspondence, and reporting/documentation in Microsoft Word and excel
    Ability to lead and assess production performance on the job.
    Ability to visualize the entire project and anticipate construction issues, provide solutions when issues arise.
    Ability to manage employees of the construction projects and assumes responsibility.
    Ability to engage senior managements advice.
    Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills.
    Valid Drivers License and clean driving abstract.
    Ability to represent the Company in a professional manner, promoting the organization in a positive and productive discipline.


Additional Information / Conditions

    Work may be required outside normal business hours and on weekends.
    Be in good physical condition; must be able to walk, stand, lift, climb pull and navigate through construction sites.
    Be able to lift approx. 100 lbs.
    Have knowledge of how to use hand tools/power tools
    Be able to review and understand drawings.
