QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor of Pharmacy,
*License to practice in the province seeking employment;
*superior interpersonal skills;
*strong verbal and written communication skills;
*commitment to providing exceptional customer service;
*computer proficiency.

Specific Skills
- Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
- Advise on the administration, uses and effects of the medication, drug incompatibilities and contra-indications
- Maintain medication profiles of customers
- Evaluate labelling, packaging and advertising of drug products
- Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products
- Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals
- Develop informational materials concerning the uses and properties of particular drugs
- Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products
- Check prescriptions for proper dosage
