Description

The Army, Navy & Airforce Veterans Unit #222; a not-for-profit Veterans and Servicemen Association is accepting resumes for the position of Operations Manager.

The successful applicant must be a skilled Manager capable of supervising the business operations and staff of our Unit. Must have proven experience balancing the needs of staff, Executive Committee and the Membership. Must be proficient with SAGE 50, Microsoft Office, and office machine operation.

We are looking for someone that is organized, honest, reliable, results driven, professional, has excellent problem solving and communications skills, and experience in the non-profit sector.

The successful candidate will report to the President and Executive Committee.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: day to day office and club room management, inventory purchasing and control, daily financial management, assisting with the annual budget and year end bookkeeping preparation, enforce policies and procedures, maintain appropriate filing of financial records, applying for licenses and reporting to Government entities, payroll administration, maintain accounts payable and receivable, taking minutes at various meetings, other duties as assigned.

Must have Serve It Right and Food Safe Certification.  A Criminal Record check must be completed before commencing employment.
