The Director of Information Systems is responsible for planning, directing, and managing a high performance, cost effective systems environment that meets Directwests current and future needs.  This position is also responsible for establishing and overseeing the Project Management Office, its daily functions, longer-term strategic projects and initiatives, communicating with the wider organization and aligning IT with the companys mission and vision.  As a member of the senior management team you will provide leadership and work with other management-level employees, team members, business unites and IT functions to coordinate project delivery. Additionally, the role will analyze the needs of all departments and determine ways to meet business objectives through successful business and technical projects.

What you will bring:
A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or diploma in Business Administration is an asset along with formal project management training. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a complex Information Technology environment and Project Management industry.
